Chelsea attacker Havertz: Lampard helping me improve every day

Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz believes he is becoming a better player thanks to Frank Lampard.

Havertz, signed from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, has recently come back from a COVID-19 diagnosis and is not yet in his best form.

However, he believes the team and his own form will continue to improve under the guidance of Lampard.

"I am feeling very good," asked about his form, he told reporters.

"The start (of the season) was not my best but I am very thankful to be here and I give every day my best to try to help the team.

"And of course, I know that Frank Lampard is a big manager for me. I can learn from him. He is helping me day-by-day and I am very thankful for that.

"I have to keep working and to do my best.

"I think I am now 100% but the two weeks out and with nothing at home, it was difficult to come back. You lose your whole fitness almost but I think I am two and a half weeks back.

"I am feeling better day-by-day. I started some games and I am feeling good."
