Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic insists the USA deserved victory against World Cup opponents England.

Last night's clash finished 0-0.

Pulisic, who hit the crossbar on the night, said: "I clearly think there were a lot of positives. We had periods, even in the first half, where we were very dominant, and created chances.

"Unfortunately we couldn't finish it, but we handled the fight well. Getting a point against England is a good result, but will also feel that we could have won the match. Not much is missing. We just have to get a little more clinical, and otherwise just keep being aggressive and creating more and more chances. That's how you score goals.

"It's all about winning the match against Iran. We have to get out aggressively and win the fight so we move on to the next round. I'm sure we can do it."
