He indicates that Spence, who has spent this term at Nottingham Forest, wants to move to United above any other Premier League club.

Spence is a right-back who has emerged as one of the best players in the Championship this season.

The 21-year-old is getting interest from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.

Whether United want to sign him is not known, but they have struggled at right-back this term, with both Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka putting in sub-par displays.
