Chelsea have allowed Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley to leave on loan for different reasons.
Loftus-Cheek moved across west London to rivals Fulham, while Barkley joined Aston Villa.
And it is only the former who has a future at the club, according to Football London.
Barkley has instead been sent to Villa by Chelsea to put him in the shop window.
The 26-year-old was knocked further down the pecking order by the arrival of Kai Havertz and he might not play for Chelsea again.
The same can't be said for Loftus-Cheek, who Lampard wants to get playing time at Fulham after only recently returning from an injury that kept him out for 12 months.
Lampard was impressed with the 24-year-old prior to his injury and believes he can recapture that form once back to full fitness.
