Chelsea will appeal against Didier Drogba's six-match Euro ban following the strikers foul mouthed outburst after last month's Champions League semi-final exit by Barcelona at Stamford Bridge. A Chelsea insider said: "The club accepts that Didier's actions were inappropriate but, given the circumstances, we feel that the punishment meted out was excessive."
