Chelsea are in talks with Atletico Madrid for Saul Niguez today.

AS says Chelsea have been in talks with the La Liga side over a move for the 26-year-old in recent weeks and negotiations have now entered the 'very hot' stage.

The Blues are open to the idea of taking Saul on loan, though the hold up in negotiations stems from the two sides debating over whether an option or obligation to buy would be included in the deal.

Goal reports the Spain international has been offered to Chelsea on loan with an option to buy set at in between £34 million and £40 million.
