Chelsea add Fulham boss Jokanovic as Enrique alternative

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is a shock candidate to succeed Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

The Daily Mail says Jokanovic is a surprise contender for the Chelsea job with the Fulham boss one of the names under consideration by the Premier League side's board.

Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique will continue as overwhelming favourite to take over from Conte this summer but Jokanovic is impressing officials at his old club.

The Serb played for Chelsea between 2000 and 2002 and is currently pushing for promotion with ChampionshipFulham, who have not lost in the league since December.

The 49-year-old is seen as someone commanding in the changing room and a coach who prioritises playing attacking football. Under him, the Cottagers are the second tier's joint-top scorers alongside high-flying Wolves.
