Chelsea ace Willian was pleased with their friendly win over Lyon.
The Brazilian captained the side against Lyon at Stamford Bridge as he continues to build up his match fitness following his exploits at the World Cup.
"It was good to play at home and feel the atmosphere from the fans," Willian said after Chelsea's spot-kick success.
"I am ready to play. Of course I have to improve more in the physical aspect, but I felt good playing around 65 minutes. It was good for me. Now we have to look forward because we have a lot of games and we want to win titles."
A change of style is expected from the Blues this season under manager Maurizio Sarri and Willian added: "He's a great manager, an intelligent manager who works a lot. He is trying to improve us.
"Of course it is just the start, we are right at the beginning, but we can improve a lot and do good things this season."
