Chelsea ace Eden Hazard is facing an anxious wait if he wants to pursue a move to Real Madrid.

Real are expected to launch a bid for the Belgium captain after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

However, L'Equipe reporter Frederic Hermel says Real president Florentino Perez will only turn to Hazard if he cannot prise Neymar away from PSG this summer.

"Hazard wants to come to Madrid, but Perez's obsession is Neymar," said Hermel.

Hazard, just this week, again left the door open to moving to Madrid after the World Cup.

"It is true that [Zidane] is special but Madrid makes everyone dream. With or without Zidane, Madrid's shirt is special," he said.

"But I'm also doing well in blue so staying wouldn't bother me."
