Chelsea ace Michael Ballack has put MLS powerbrokers on notice. The Germany captain has declared he wants to extend his career for as long as possible - and fancies a swansong in the US.

"I want to continue to play at the highest level. I think to go to America would be a sign, not just for the other people but for me as well," Ballack said.
