Cheick Toure pleased with progress at Fulham

Cheick Touré is delighted with his progress at Fulham.

The 17-year-old joined last summer having spent time at Auxerre and Millwall - where he was offered a professional contract - but it was at Fulham where he felt most at home.

"I enjoy playing with the Development Squad because it's good for my progress," Toure told fulhamfc.com. "I came up against some very experienced players and it was a challenge that I enjoyed - some of them had many years of Premier League and international football behind them.

"I think that I did well, and as a result I have also trained with the First Team, both under Roy Hodgson and now Mark Hughes - hopefully that is a sign that I am doing well. It's tough, but you just have to get your head down and learn as much as you can from those around you."
