Watford defender Lloyd Doyley is trialing with Charlton Athletic.
Doyley is a free agent after his Watford contract expired at the end of June, but he remained with the club he joined as a schoolboy to return to fitness following neck surgery.
Doyley's association with the Hornets began 23 years ago and he made his first-team debut under Luca Vialli in September 2001.
Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores recently said: “Doyley is a legend of Watford.
“He is an amazing professional and, more importantly, he is an amazing person."
