Former Charlton player and boss Chris Powell believes the fans need to be heard as the turmoil continues at the Championship club.

The 46 year-old appeared over 200 times as player and was the manager as they won promotion to the Championship in 2012.

"Whether you like the protests or not, the fans feel the need to be heard", he told BBC Radio London.

"They want answers and, quite clearly, they are not getting them".
