Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer is keen on bringing Chelsea fullback Jay Dasilva back to the club.

The 20-year-old impressed for the Addicks on loan from Chelsea last season.

The England U21 international is now on-loan at Bristol City.

Dasilva had a run of six matches for Lee Johnson's side but has not been on the bench for the last three fixtures and prior to that was unused for two games.

“We'd love to have him back with us but I can't see it being a possibility," said Bowyer. “He has gone up to the Championship and done well.

“I'd be surprised if Chelsea take him back and loan him to us."
