Transfer interest is arriving for Arsenal defender Daniel Ballard.

The London Evening Standard says Millwall and QPR are among several Championship clubs interested in signing Ballard.

Ballard, who excelled on loan at Millwall last season, can leave Arsenal permanently this summer if the right offer is made.

Interest is already high in the 22-year-old, who is a senior Northern Ireland international and had a good loan at Blackpool during the 2020-21 season.

Millwall would love to keep hold of Ballard, but they face competition from several Championship clubs and overseas sides too.

QPR are fans of the centre-back, but they are not alone as Burnley, Cardiff, Sheffield United and Stoke are some of those who have scouted him this season.
