Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has stated that the Reds are targeting a Champions League finish as well as a good cup run this season.

The level of expectation at Liverpool has increased significantly since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as manager and the German has assembled a very good squad at Anfield over the summer.

Now Mignolet has gone on to reveal that Liverpool are feeling confident this season and are eyeing a top-four finish as well as going on a run in the domestic cup competitions.

"This year it should definitely be our goal to finish in the top four - and also to do well in the two cup competitions," he told the Liverpool Echo.
