Chamakh: Nasri has helped me settle at Arsenal

Marouane Chamakh says he's been able to settle quickly at Arsenal.

Chamakh, who was born and raised in France, is taking English lessons but has the benefit of a strong French contingent already at the club.

Manager Arsene Wenger always insists players speak English in the dressing room but during the close season, Chamakh has been helped to settle by his fellow natives.

"Samir Nasri, who is a good friend, took me under his wing a bit and made it very easy for me," said Chamakh.

"It was really good to have him with me and I spent a lot of time at his house watching the World Cup. I am an easy going guy and I knew there wouldn't be any problem integrating within this group."
