Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has told Potters boss Tony Pulis that he will have funds to spend in the transfer market over the summer. Coates told The Sentinel, "Often you find that the money which comes isn't in a lump sum, so you have to have the ability to find the money."
Coates also hinted he may use some of his own money to fund transfers, stating, "That might well have to be the case, you have to have the cash-flow to do things.
"I am sure there will be more support from the company."
