Central Coast Mariners head coach Graham Arnold says his side will not get caught up in the hype of Alessandro Del Piero playing in Gosford.
The Italian great and his Sydney FC teammates head to Bluetongue Stadium on Saturday with Del Piero netting three goals in his past three outings but Arnold insists that won't detract from the Mariners game plan.
"It's a wonderful occasion to have him (Del Piero) coming to Gosford, but we'll play our normal game," Arnold said.
"We know he's a fantastic player and we'll keep a close eye on him but there won't be one player that will have a role of man marking him at all.
"It will just be about doing what we do best and doing it right.
"It's more than just about Del Piero. It's about Central Coast Mariners and the way we play."
The Mariners currently sit third on the A-League table with seven points from four matches whilst the Sky Blues find themselves fifth, a point behind their New South Wales rivals.
