Central Coast expecting more interest for Celtic trialist Rogic

Central Coast Mariners starlet Tomas Rogic could be the subject of further interest from clubs in England and Spain according to reports.

The 20-year old playmaker is currently impressing on trial for Celtic during their mid-winter break in Marbella which is believed to have sparked curiosity from Spanish clubs.

Rogic is already a target for Reading and QPR with Fulham expected to make their interest known this week.

"We can confirm that QPR have provided a formal letter overnight and another is expected tonight from another Premier League Club," Mariners chairman Peter Turnbull told au.fourfourtwo.com.

"Glasgow Celtic appear to have been impressed with Tom during his stay in Spain, and have requested that Tom travel back to Glasgow with them to view their facilities, and see Glasgow first-hand.

"It is not surprising to see Tom in such demand, and from such big clubs. We are proud to have been able to give Tom this opportunity, and are especially pleased to see the quality of the clubs that have shown interest in him and subsequently the Central Coast Mariners."
