Celtic are planning to make their move for Blackburn Rovers defender Shane Duffy this week, but James Forrest won't be leaving in the opposite direction.
The Herald Scotland claims that Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers is a big fan of Duffy, but he is yet to make an approach for the 24-year-old.
The Republic of Ireland international is expected to cost the Glasgow giants around £3.5million.
Meanwhile, Celtic winger Forrest is not expected to move in the opposite direction despite some reports suggesting he would move to Ewood Park this summer.
Forrest, who has only seven months left in his deal with the Scottish Champions, was recently linked with a shift to Lancashire but the report suggests that Blackburn manager Owen Coyle is not particularly looking to sign a winger in the current transfer window.
