Celtic thrash Kilmarnock to make it 50 domestic games unbeaten

Scottish giants Celtic are undefeated in their last 50 domestic games after thrashing Kilmarnock 5-0 in Betfred Cup.

A youthful Celtic side started the game on the front foot and raced into a 3-0 lead inside the first 30 minutes.

Leigh Griffiths bagged a brace, including a penalty, and youngster Anthony Ralston scored his first Celtic goal.

Celtic's captain for the day Kieran Tierney produced the highlight of the game as he struck a thumping 40-yard shot into the top corner to add the fourth for his side.

Midfielder Stuart Armstrong rounded off the scoring in the 71st-minute of the game.
