Celtic are being linked with Everton veteran Phil Jagielka.

The Blues stalwart and club captain announced he will be leaving the club this summer after 12 years.

The 36-year-old has already attracted attention from several Championship clubs.

But he could be tempted by a move to Scotland, where he would compete for trophies at Celtic.

The Sun claims that he is interesting Celtic, who would offer him regular first team football as well.

They previously tried to sign him in January, but he decided to remain and fight for his place at Everton.

Jagielka only appeared in seven games this past season.
