Celtic striker Liel Abada admits Liverpool ambitions

Celtic striker Liel Abada admits he has ambitions of catching the eye of Liverpool scouts.

The 20-year-old joined the Scottish Premiership side this summer from Maccabi Petah Tikva, putting pen to paper on a five-year contract at the club.

“My dream was and remains to play in England, in one of the teams in the Premier League," he told sport5.co.il.

“The biggest dream is Liverpool, but I have to keep working hard here to prove myself."

"Should Mo Salah worry? From me? No! He is a super player," joked Abada.

He added: “Anyone who hasn't been to Celtic Park does not understand what an atmosphere is.

"You do not understand what a shiver it gives. My song too, and when they shout You'll Never Walk Alone. It's hard for me to even explain in words."
