Celtic striker Edouard questions where he'd fit at Liverpool

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard looks unlikely to join Liverpool.

The Frenchman was first linked to the club in March, when a rumour of a Divock Origi swap plus cash deal was mooted.

The 23-year-old has 21 goals this term for Celtic, and Origi is out of favor with the Reds.

According to Anfield Central, Edouard spoke with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp over the phone about a possible move.

But he was left feeling uncertain about where he would fit into the team, given the club has the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino as options for their traditional front three.

Edouard knows other teams are in for him, and Arsenal may make a move if they sell Alexandre Lacazette this summer.
