Celtic slap 'Rodgers tax' on Leicester target Edouard

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has been left frustrated in his bid for Celtic striker Odsonn Edouard.

The Daily Record says Edouard's move to Leicester looks to be off with Celtic 's transfer value priced the side out of a deal.

The France Under-21 striker is out of contract in the summer of 2022 and widely expected to leave Parkhead this summer.

A reunion with Brendan Rodgers appeared to be on the cards but the deal looks to have fallen apart.

The Foxes are now in advanced talks to sign Patson Daka of RB Salzburg as they move on from the Frenchman.

It's also reported any business with Leicester now carries a "Rodgers tax", following his controversial Parkhead exit in 2019.
