Celtic's Rogic, Austria Vienna's Holland set for Champions League action

Tom Rogic and James Holland are the latest Australian players who will compete in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Rogic's Celtic defeated Kazakhstani side Shakhter Karagandy 3-0 at Celtic Park on Wednesday night to progress to the group stage 3-2 on aggregate whilst Holland's Austria Vienna secured their path into Europe's premier club competition on Tuesday night with a 4-2 aggregate triumph despite a 3-2 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the second leg.

20-year old attacking midfielder Rogic did not make Neil Lennon's matchday squad for the second leg whilst 24-year old holding mid Holland played a full 90 minutes for Vienna.

The pair join Chelsea's Mark Schwarzer, Borussia Dortmund's Mitch Langerak and Bayer Leverkusen's Robbie Kruse as Aussies whose clubs will compete in the Champions League in 2013/14.
