Celtic's Lennon to have full choice of personnel for Spartak Moscow trip

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is likely to have a fully fit squad for next week's Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.

The Hoops, who drew 0-0 with Benfica last week, travel to Russia for their second Group G fixture on Tuesday night and Lennon will be able to select key midfielders Joe Ledley and Beram Kayal after they returned from injury to get vital game time in the League Cup win over Raith Rovers last night.

"It was always the plan on Tuesday to give Beram an hour and give Joe half an hour so thankfully they came through that unscathed and will be fit for the weekend," he said after the 4-1 victory.

Lennon is now just waiting on the fitness of forward Georgios Samaras but he is expected to get some minutes in the Scottish Premier League trip to Motherwell on Saturday.

"Georgios isn't far away either so we are at almost a full quota coming into a big stretch of games," Lennon added.

He also revealed that those players who missed or were rested for last night's match will also be available.

"I think we came through last night unscathed. We have Victor Wanyama and Kris Commons to come back," he said.

"Miku and Lassad (Nouioui) will come into the reckoning as well so hopefully we will look to pick a pretty strong team."
