Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is being lined up for a move to Scotland.

The Scotsman says McTominay is a target for Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, who is keen to take the midfielder on-loan next season.

United boss Jose Mourinho may release McTominay for loan dependent on the success he has in the market this summer.

McTominay made his Scotland debut last season, though also qualified for England.

Teammate Nemanja Matic said of McTominay: "He's amazing. He is 21 and playing so and controlling the game like that is impressive. He will be a big player for Manchester United."
