Celtic are interested in Real Valladolid keeper Jacobo Sanz, reports STV Sport. The Spanish stopper is currently on tour with his club in Scotland and will be watched by Celtic scouts before he gets a chance to impress in a closed door game against Neil Lennon's team.
The 27 year old has one year left on his contract and it thought his employers would be keen to cash in if a suitable offer is forthcoming.
While a Spanish source says a deal between Jacobo and Celtic is close, it is believed a formal bid may yet be some way away.
