Celtic go for Man City defender Boyata

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is keen on Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata.

The Scottish Sun says the Hoops were linked with the Belgian kid last summer before he was sent to FC Twente.

Boyata, 22, is now back at the Etihad, but is unlikely to be part of Roberto Mancini's plans.

He spent last season at Bolton and several Championship clubs have joined the Hoops in expressing an interest in a short-term deal.
