Celtic boss Neil Lennon has targeted Everton star James Vaughan for a loan deal. SunSport understands Lennon has made enquiries about a full-season loan for the 21-year-old, who'd a spell at Leicester last term.
Toffees boss David Moyes would rather sell Vaughan and values him at £3million.
The ex-England Under-21 international was offered to Rangers two years ago and has never quite established himself at Goodison.
There were high hopes for him when, at 16, he became the youngest ever player and goalscorer for Everton.
However, serious knee injuries curtailed his progress and the pacey Vaughan scored just twice in 11 appearances at Everton last season.
