Celtic boss Lennon hoping Izaguirre, Samaras are fit for Juventus

Neil Lennon hopes that Emilio Izaguirre and Georgios Samaras are fit for Celtic's Champions League clash with Juventus.

Left-back Izaguirre sustained a knee injury whilst Greek forward Samaras hurt his knee in Wednesday night's 4-1 win over Kilmarnock and Lennon has his fingers crossed for the key duo.

"Emilio should be okay. He just felt a little bit of tightness at the back of the knee," he said.

"Georgios, we think, may have a slight strain but he will be scanned tomorrow and we are hoping it is not too serious.

"It is two weeks until Juventus and if it is more than a mild strain then it will be a concern. At the minute it doesn't look too bad but the scan will reveal more tomorrow."
