Celtic boss confident Forster will go to Brazil with England

Neil Lennon believes Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster is good enough to gain selection for England's World Cup squad.

The 25-year old has established himself as by far the best keeper in Scotland over the past few years and according to Lennon, is certainly in the best three in England.

"We know what a good goalkeeper Fraser is and I think he has done enough to warrant a place on the plane to Brazil," said Lennon.

"I think Fraser will go to Brazil. I haven't been given a heads up on it, but he's certainly within the top three English goalkeepers."

Manchester City's Joe Hart is expected to be in Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad while Forster will likely be doing battle with West Bromwich Albion's Ben Foster, Norwich City's John Ruddy and possibly Reading's Alex McCarthy for the second and third spots.
