Celtic and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Rennes defender Brandon Soppy.

The 18-year-old has not yet made a senior appearance for the French club.

But he has already impressed at youth level and is attracting interest from many top teams.

Celtic have the keenest interest, as the Parkhead club want to get their summer business done quickly, according to French journalist Manu Lonjon.

Soppy may feel that Celtic offer him the best chance of regular first team football.

It would be a lot harder for him to compete for a starting spot at Wolves, given they are a top ten Premier League club at the moment.
