Celta Vigo youngster Jose Fontan feels for former coach Oscar Garcia.

Oscar was sacked and replaced by Eduardo Coudet last week.

Fontan enjoyed full support from Oscar and told Marca: "The results end up marking the coach being the victim, but the fault lies with the players, both when it goes well and when it goes bad. We are the ones who have to pull the car.

"A coach can give you guidelines and tell you how to play, but we are the ones who have to perform out there. The coaches are not the ones who play."

On Argentine Coudet, he added: "We have had a few training sessions and we still can't know much, but what stands out the most about him is the intensity. Coudet trusts us and the good group we have. He tells us that if we do things as he asks us, everything will be fine. It gives us a lot of confidence and that is key."
