Celta Vigo teenager Pape Cheikh Diop is being watched by Premier League clubs.

The Daily Mail says Celta Vigo are in England for pre-season friendlies and Premier League scouts will not miss the opportunity to cast an eye over teenager midfielder Diop.

He made his La Liga debut in December 2015 and established himself in the first-team squad last season, making 27 appearances mostly from the bench.

Celta Vigo finished the campaign in 13th place after taking only one point from their final seven games and reached the Europa League semi-finals where they were beaten 2-1 on aggregate by Manchester United.

Celta Vigo face Brentford at Griffin Park on Saturday 29 July and Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday 1 August.
