Tottenham are in talks with Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.

The Uruguay international, 21, is in his first season in Europe and his form has caught the eye of clubs across Europe.

Radio Galega says Borussia Dortmund are tracking Gomez, though it is Spurs which have shown the most concrete interest. And for his part, Gomez admits he is excited about Tottenham's enquiries.

He told AS: "It would be good to go to the Premier League."

The striker's current deal carries a €50m buyout clause.
