Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas has signed a new deal.

Aspas has extended his contract at the Galician club until 2023 - the club's centenary year.

Aspas' previous deal with Celta was due to end in 2021 with an option for a further year but the relationship between player and club has improved.

Other than the two seasons he spent at Liverpool and Sevilla, the Spanish forward has been at Celta for his entire career and, for many, he is the greatest player in the club's history.
