Celta Vigo midfielder Pablo Hernandez has defended teammate Fabián Orellana over his red card against Barcelona.

Orellana was sent off for throwing a piece of the pitch at Sergio Busquets.

"I'm sure he's regretting it, but he wasn't the only one to think about doing the same thing. I considered it and I was on the bench. Pretending to take a free-kick seven times... it's something that passes through your mind. Some people react in this way and others don't. More than one of us would have done the same," said Hernandez.

"You can't take over a minute to take a free kick and fake it seven times. It hurts because they're taking the p***. We are colleagues and I think they should respect us."
