Cech urges Chelsea to take another step forward

Petr Cech wants Chelsea to build on their 3-1 victory at Norwich City on Sunday.

The Blues edged a plucky Norwich outfit by scoring two late goals to move to third on the Premier League table at Carrow Road and the Czech goalkeeper hopes it can be a platform to further successes this season.

"It's always good to have a positive start and go one better so we hope to get better every game," he told Sky Sports.

"Today it was an important win for us especially in the circumstances that we conceded an equaliser quite late in the second half, so we can take another step forward.

"I thought that in the first half today, we controlled the game and we could have scored more goals than only one.

"Once they got back into the game, it's a Premier League side playing at home; they were full of confidence because it was only 1-0.

"They got the equaliser so it became more difficult for us but the reaction was great. From the moment the equaliser went in, we had to get up and went and scored the two goals."

Anthony Pilkington cancelled out Oscar's fourth-minute opener with just over 20 minutes remaining before Eden Hazard and Willian helped the Blues pull off their fourth league victory of the campaign.
