Marek Cech is expected to leave West Bromwich Albion this summer.
The Birmingham Mail says Cech's Hawthorns future looks increasingly bleak after Albion entered the race for Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand.
The Stamford Bridge club are expected to allow the highly-rated Bertrand to go out on loan next season.
Albion are one of several clubs pitching for the England Under-21 left-back.
Their pursuit of the youngster is the biggest indication yet that Cech will be on his way this summer, despite having his contract renewed.
