Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech says the Gunners' 2-0 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League was more difficult to stomach than conceding a goal to Lionel Messi for the first time.
Messi scored both of the Catalans' goals in the first leg win, the first time he has found the back of net against Cech in seven matches.
However, the Gunners shot-stopper was adamant he was more upset with the result of the fixture than having is record against one of the greatest attacking players of all-time blemished.
"We are disappointed because we lost the game, not because one of the best players ever managed to score against me," Cech said.
"I'm not disappointed by that. I'm disappointed because we lost by two goals and our task is very difficult to qualify.
"I knew that he could shoot so that is why I managed to put my body over there [for the first goal] but he used the space. I hoped the guys that were coming back could block it on the line but they weren't able to."
