Cech paid tribute to Chelsea's dynamic defence despite conceding a first goal for more than six hours.
Scott Parker's spectacular lob was the first club goal conceded by Cech since April 17.
The keeper said: "Football is all about scoring goals so when someone is scoring a lot of goals it is always talked about ahead of the defence.
"We have been defending well and scoring goals. I hope we keep going like this because in the big games sometimes you need just one goal if you defend well.
"When you are chasing back-to-back titles, this is always a special season.
"We know after having won the Double for the first time in the club's history that everybody will look to this season and want at least the same.
"But as we have said many times, our target is the Champions League."
