Steven Caulker has defended underfire QPR teammate Rio Ferdinand.

For many, the former Manchester United defender has been a liability for QPR this season.

But Caulker told the Fulham Chronicle: "To be honest any back four that has to defend for 90 minutes is going to concede goals and we hold our hands up, but we've got to keep hold of the ball better."
