Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole was delighted with the point earned from their draw with Chelsea.
Cattermole patrolled the midfield with his usual aggression - managing to stay out of the book - taking plaudits for his performance.
And he said: "All season we have been in control of our own game. The media has been negative to us but other than the heavy defeat at Southampton and the Arsenal game we've been solid. If we could turn a few draws into wins we'd be much higher.
"Chelsea have got their way of playing and we always wanted to leave them in front of us and not let them play one-twos around us."
