Watford defender Craig Cathcart says they must not get carried away with their impressive Premier League campaign.
Cathcart was part of Blackpool's rollercoaster run in the top-flight.
He said: “Some of the lads (at Blackpool) were saying we would be safe by February or March. We took our eye off the ball and we ended up going down by a point, which was devastating.
“I've learned from that experience. You can't take anything for granted, and I'll be relaying that to the lads in the dressing room.
“For any team that has just come up from the Championship, it is vital that you beat the teams around you in the table.
“It's a bonus that we haven't looked out of place when we've played teams above us, either."
