Craig Cathcart says the team spirit at Blackpool is a huge factor.
Former Manchester United defender Cathcart does not believe Blackpool's players are too interested in reputations.
"All the lads that were here last year were written off then, so I don't think it bothers them too much," he said. "They are confident and the players who have come in could tell that.
"We have gelled really well and that has proved to be good for us. Arsenal is going to be a completely different ball game.
"They will have a lot of possession, so we will have to defend properly, keep our shape and hopefully hit them on the counter-attack."
