Craig Cathcart has signed a new long-term contract with Watford.
The 26-year old Northern Ireland international has put pen to a four-year deal with the Hornets ahead of their return to the Premier League.
Centre-back Cathcart joined Watford from Blackpool last summer and was a key member of the squad that gained promotion to England's top flight with a second-place Championship finish last season.
Cathcart enjoyed a previous loan spell at Vicarage Road in 2009 while he was contracted at Manchester United.
