Catalan side Igualada have announced that they will play a friendly with Barcelona to raise funds in the fight against coronavirus.

The match will take place at the Estadio Municipal de Les Comes in the Igualada municipality of Barcelona once it is safe to do so.

Igualada has been one of the worst hit areas from the coronavirus, with one of the highest death rates in Europe.

Barcelona will play the match in order to show their solidarity with their local community and society in general.
